About Monterey House of Worships Pastor & Family

Pastor & Sister Albalos began thier Ministry in 1988 as Youth Pastors in the Bakersfield, California area. They soon began planting new church works in Lost Hills and Shafter, CA. After 22 years of ministry in Kern County they followed their hearts to the Modesto, CA area.

After 5 years of ministry in Stanislaus County the Lord opened doors to plant seeds of truth in Monterey, CA. The Albalos family were given permission by the Western Distict UPC to teach Bible studies on October 29, 2012. At first they met at McDonalds, parks, homes, and sometimes even in their vehicles to teach a Bible studies. Their first Bible study, two weeks later, was referred to them by the Los Banos, CA church, and he was baptized in the Name of Jesus soon after. As the group began to grow they sought out a building, and began to rent from the YMCA. In one year they had 72 first time visitors, 23 Spirit filled, and 5 baptized. After a steady year of growth the Lord opened doors for the Monterey House of Worship to relocate to the historic Carleton Hall. They have had the opportunity to teach Bible Studies to an Actress, Engineers, a Physician, Business Partners, Retired Military, Nurses, College Students, Retired School Teachers, and Homeless Vetetans.

The Monterey House of Worship believes in missions, and has sown seeds of faith and finances in Washington DC, China, Fiji, India, and the East Coast. We believe in soul winning, loving people, planting churches, and giving back to the kingdom of God.

The Albalos family thank God, for the leaders in their lives, their friends, their family, and the Western District for their support.
